Elite

The FDL Elite Membership consists of training sessions for elite players, small group sessions, private lessons, recruiting assistance and lecture opportunities. Trainings consist of basic skills, small game play, set plays and tactical and technical information. FDL Elite is invitation only. Players are selected from FDL Academy and can be selected during any time of the year. When invited to Elite, players are offered a place in one of the age groups U19, U16, U14, U12 and U10, which are based on birth year. Talented players can play in an older age group. FDL Elite players are required to have an FDL FHC membership and a USA Field Hockey membership.  FDL FHC's travel teams are selected from FDL Elite.  

FDL Elite calendar year runs September-August. Most invitations for Elite are extended in August. Players can receive an invitation during the year after participating in an Academy event. Once players are Elite Members, they do not need to tryout again or participate in an Academy event. Once you are in, you are IN!
